The fruitiness of tangerine and pineapple and the satisfying bitterness of hops coexist.
Once you put it in your mouth, you will feel like an everlasting summer paradise. A fruity and hoppy IPA with plenty of tangerine and pineapple flavors. In September 2016, the Stone Pilot Series: 611 Tangerine Express, which was brewed exclusively with draft only, was released as a new standard product. Rather than simply throwing in the juice, which is often the childish way of beer with fruit, we use plenty of tangerine puree to create a delicate citrus flavor and a crisp, crisp bitterness. Pineapple is also added as a flavor coordinator (note). Realizing the taste that can be drawn only by using real fruits. A bright golden liquid color peeks out from the glass, and a juicy, tropical, lively fragrance bursts out. The taste is mainly tangerine, with a hint of pineapple in the background, along with hop-derived citrus, pine, and dankness (Note 2). Medium body with a dry finish. Stone does not allow any compromise in beer making. Naturally, they don't care about children's tongues such as "I want to drink beer that tastes like fruit juice". I created this beer without bending. In May 2020, the name was changed to “Tangerine Express “Hazy” IPA”. This ain't no just-add-juice approach. This one is for adults. We use bountiful whole tangerine purée, which brings pithy, crisp bitterness to the citrus flavor. In addition to the complexities of the tangerine — the likes of which you can only get by using the whole fruit — we judiciously employ just a hint of the whole pineapple for a banknote (you'd likely not even pick it out of the mix if we didn't tell you it was there). not looking for a sweet concoction to appease the “I want my beer to taste like fruit juice” crowd. This is Stone. We like our IPAs to taste like IPAs. Big, bold, and not for kids.
