Tenshen

Born from a collaboration between winemaker Joey Tensley and vintner Alex Guarachi, Tenshen is a Santa Barbara County label dedicated to Rhône-style blends and varietal wines that deliver both value and character. The lineup spans red, white, rosé, and Cabernet Sauvignon, each crafted to be expressive, balanced, and approachable.

The name “Tenshen” is a playful nod to the “tension” at the heart of winemaking — capturing grapes at the perfect moment of ripeness to achieve energy, nuance, and intrigue in the glass.
