Excellent sharpness, wine with citrus scent
Lightly irrigated old Tocalon clones used after a long ripening period had the highest phenol ripeness. Tangerine, lemongrass, melon and lime blossom are intense with each swirl. The finish is delicate even if it goes berserk. Barrel fermentation in 25% stainless steel barrels 75% French oak (including 10% new barrels). It is left unstirred on the sediment until before bottling to extract the maximum aroma.
