Golden straw color, with aromas of citrus fruits, yellow peach, jasmine, basil, etc. The rich aromas continue throughout the mouth, and the beautiful acidity and clear, hard minerals tighten the overall flavor. The aftertaste also has a beautiful acidity, creating an elegant taste. The winery was started by the current owner, Ottaviano Lambruschi, who used to be a marble cutter, and his brothers in the 1970s. The winery owns vineyards in Costa Marina and Il Maggiore in the Colli de' Luni area, known for producing excellent Vermentino in Liguria. In the 1980s, his son Fabio joined and began bottling.

We express the unique characteristics of the different terroirs of each vineyard, which are said to be number one locally, in our wines.

For cultivation, grass is grown alternately between the rows of grapes, and the grape roots compete to grow deeper into the ground in search of nutrients. Because the wind constantly blows through the fields, the grapes are dry and can be cultivated hygienically, without the use of chemicals. For this reason, chemicals are rarely used, but are used only when necessary and to a minimum.

The winery is always kept well-organized, reflecting the owner's meticulous and strict personality.

His son Fabio says, "My father loved the wine of this region, and even though he worked as a stonecutter, he always dreamed of making wine. After he retired, he came up with an amazing number of ideas that surprised us. After graduating from agricultural school and completing his military service, I thought about going into the army, but I decided to help my father with his work, and it was the right decision."

As Fabio says, "I was right to choose this path," and although the winery is small, you can really sense the passion, ambition, and dedication that goes into winemaking.

Ottaviano Lambruschi is a master of Vermentino in Liguria. He strongly believed in the potential of this variety and planted vineyards in Salticola and Costa Marina. This 5ha field is a wonderful terroir, and he currently runs a winery with his son Fabio, achieving success that he could not have imagined 30 years ago. Both Costa Marina and Salticola have a beautiful acidity and there is not much difference in quality, but this year Costa Marina is a little more lively.

The wines from this winery are always of high quality and are a well-known producer in CollidiLuni. This year, Costa Marina was the one that shone brightly.

The wine is brewed in stainless steel tanks to bring out the excellent acidity that is characteristic of the Salticola and Costa Marina crus. It is also highly regarded as "the best white wine in Italy." It is as fresh as pure water, has high acidity, and has a powerful mineral flavor and complex aroma that is very appealing.

Vermentino that Piedmontese master Angelo Gaia always drinks in Bolgheri

Ottaviano Lambruschi's Costa Marina 2007 was featured in the Wine Kingdom issue 51 in a project called "70 Italian white wines to drink in the Japanese summer."

"Colli di Luni Vermentino Costa Marina" (producer: Ottaviano Lambruschi) is also worth mentioning. DOC Colli di Luni is not a well-known appellation, but the Espresso Guide has highly praised the Vermentino from this region. The Vermentino that Angelo Gaia, the owner of "Gaia" in Piedmont, loves to drink, is from this producer.
