This is a highly aromatic wine with aromas of citrus, cherry pie, toast, spice and a hint of earthiness.

A complex cherry-like flavor spreads across your palate, with a mellow, soft texture that lingers on your palate for a long time.

Located on the northern edge of the Santa Lucia Highlands, Lone Oak Vineyards is a 146-acre (58-ha) conservation-certified vineyard that enjoys the coolest growing season of all of Hahn's vineyards due to the cooling marine breezes off Monterey Bay.

In the morning, the fields are shrouded in mist, blocking out the sunlight, and in the afternoon, the grapes are slowly ripened by the strong, cold winds from the sea, resulting in grapes with a concentrated flavor.

The vineyard is located on a gentle east-facing slope at an altitude of 54-150m, and the ancient sedimentary soil provides excellent drainage.

A single-vineyard Pinot Noir brand produced by Hahn Winery.

Nicky worked hard to get Santa Lucia Highlands (SLH) promoted to AVA status, and replanted all of the SLH vineyards, which were originally planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, to create the best Pinot Noir that can fully express the individuality of SLH.

This vineyard is privately owned and produced by the Hahn family for premium Pinot Noir.

Lucienne is a derivative of Nicky's middle name, Lucienne, and is a feminine name in honour of Santa Lucia, the patron saint of light.

The label features her crown, a reference to Santa Lucia, who is said to have provided light during the dark winter months with a crown of candles.
