Vines 60 years old. 1.5ha. Barrel aging (50-5 new barrels) for 18 months. Micasist soil. Flat, east-facing, cool vineyard. Born in 1961, Mr. Cuillon studied winemaking and cultivation at a technical school before taking over his uncle's Domaine in 1986. He has already reached the top level as a white wine producer in the Rhone region since his mid-30s, and in particular owns a large 12ha vineyard in Condrieu, where he produces outstanding wines with complex, rich, well-balanced and deep flavors. The Vieilles Vignes made from old vines and the Récolte Tartives made from perfectly ripe grapes picked later are spectacular. The vines are 15-60 years old, and the grapes are harvested in a minimum amount while selecting the fully ripe grapes, and then carefully selected again on the selection table. For the reds, up to 30% of the bunches are fermented in cement and stainless steel tanks, which are easy to control the temperature. The white wines are primarily fermented in barrels. After a long maceration period, they are aged in small barrels (10-100% new barrels) for 6-18 months. They are frequently batonnaged and bottled without filtering. They currently own 75 hectares, making them the largest domaine in the Northern Rhone. In 2016, they opened a new winery and adopted gravity flow, striving to produce even more outstanding wines.
