Purchased the farm in 2016. 2009 (22nd), 2010 (17th), 2018 (25th), and the latest 2019 (14th), Wine Spectator magazine TOP 100 wine four times. After purchasing it as our own field, we have succeeded in harvesting very high quality grapes in both 2016 and 2017 by paying close attention to field management such as canopy management, pruning and watering. The 2017 is rich with intense aromas of chocolate, bacon and dark fruit, with velvety tannins melding roundly to create a rich wine. 20% French oak barrels are used during aging, so the scent of vanilla barrels is scented in the long-lasting aftertaste. It is a wine that can be enjoyed immediately, but it will also enjoy the changes in taste over the next 12 years.
