Pale straw yellow in appearance. Fresh fruit aromas of green apples and limes with floral nuances. Soft, creamy bubbles spread in the mouth. Fresh fruit flavors of apples and citrus fruits, hard limestone minerals. Light and never tiring to drink, it is the perfect taste for the coming season. The history of Cero e Terra began in 1908 in the vineyards of the Chiampo Valley, east of Verona. The previous third generation started bottling, and now, under the fourth generation, the quality has been further improved with the introduction of modern winemaking equipment. Currently, the company boasts a total cultivation area of over 4,000 hectares, of which 60 hectares are grown organically under the certification of CCPB (the Italian government's organic certification agency). The grapes for the "Bio Bio" series are harvested from these organic fields.
Cero e Terra has also acquired two international food standards: BRC Global Food issued by the British Retail Consortium (BRC) and IFS (International Food Standard) issued by the German and French food retail industry associations. Cero e Terra has also acquired the quality management standard ISO9001. Furthermore, Cero e Terra is donating a portion of its profits to support agriculture in the Republic of Sierra Leone, West Africa, through a project called "PROJECTECO," where it supports well digging.
As the name suggests, the "BioBio Series" is a wine produced using "Bio = organic farming" methods. It features a cute label that combines the sound of a chick crowing, "Pio," with the word "Bio."
