Bread & Butter has vineyards in the Carneros AVA in Sonoma County and the Arroyo Seco AVA in Monterey County. Carneros is currently known as one of the leading producers of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir in California. The fertile and complex soil is influenced by the oceanic climate from San Francisco, forming a cool microclimate that brings about a clear fruit flavor. The Arroyo Seco vineyards have nuances of tropical fruits and flowers, with a hint of minerality. By combining grapes from the two vineyards, the wine is elevated to a complex and elegant style, resulting in a classic yet solid wine.
