Fermented in stainless steel tanks in the cool climate of the northern west coast of California (Mendocino, Sonoma, Lake, Monterey, San Luis Obispo, etc.), then aged in barrels that have been used for several years. Aromas of orange blossom and apricot, lemon cream and nectarine. It has a delicate flavor with a hint of soft honey. It is wrapped in a gentle acidity reminiscent of green apples and mandarin oranges, and has a mellow aftertaste reminiscent of vanilla and butterscotch from barrel aging.
