High-quality wine produced by the media tycoon Hearst family
The land was purchased in 1865 by the legendary media magnates of America, the Hearst family. In 1992, Steve Hurst, a descendant of the company, joined forces with Jim Sanders, the co-owner, to create high-quality wines full of individuality under the theme of "Legacy of Quality" (quality heritage in all bottles!). I keep building.
A variety of grape varieties such as French Rhone and Spanish grapes are cultivated using sustainable farming methods. The winery and its own vineyards are located east of Paso Robles. Syrah, Petite Sirah, Petit Verdot and Tempranillo are cultivated on clay-loam soils on gentle slopes facing south-west.
The wines are named after important places and iconic figures in the winery's history, and each bottle bears the history of Hearst Ranch Winery. Feel the "legacy of quality" in each bottle.
