Clean and brilliant golden yellow.
Aromas of ripe lemon and pear with a hint of minerality.
The palate is elegant and fresh, with a salty aftertaste and delicate texture.
It goes well with crab and white fish such as kinki.
This is a wine that is delicious to drink now, but can also be enjoyed after aging for around five years.
Please drink chilled to 10-12°C.
Location: Batuco, 30 km from the Pacific Ocean, 187 m above sea level. Block: 1. Soil: Granite soil rich in feldspar and kaolin. Yield: 8000 kg/ha. Harvested on the 26th of March.

There are many old vines with deep roots.
Bouchon owns three vineyards in the Maule region: Mingre, Batuco and Santa Rosa, all of which are grown on granite soil called Granito.
The land is very dry, close to the cold Pacific Ocean, and some plots have never been irrigated, so the wines made from these grapes have a unique character that is almost like bottled minerality.
This is the land's ancient wine-making heritage and Bouchon's masterpiece.
<Bouchon Family Wines> French immigrant Emilio Bouchon settled in Chile in 1887.
He bought a vineyard in the Colchagua Valley.
In the 1970s, Emilio's grandson Julio purchased vineyards in the Maule Valley and founded the winery.
This marked the beginning of the current Bouchon Winery.
In the 21st century, business expanded along with Chilean wine's global success.
Today, winemaking is carried on by Julio's children, the fourth generation.
While they continue to make wine in the way they have inherited, they are also challenging themselves with new things.
The company is actively involved in Vigno's activities to save old-vine Carignan grapes, and also focuses on the Pais grape variety, known as the origin of Chilean wine, producing wines in a style that combines learning from the past with modernity.
Winemaker Christian Sepulveta is one of the most notable winemakers in Chile today, having been named Young Winemaker of the Year by renowned British wine critic Tim Atkin MW in his 2019 Chile Report.
