This wine is made from 50% estate-grown grapes and the other half is sourced from a small vineyard by El Pomar, a winery with which the winery has had a long relationship going back decades. It has a rich, chocolatey flavor and is a clear expression of the Petite Sirah character of Paso Robles.

Deep garnet in color, it is bursting with aromas of black fruit, licorice, anise and sage, with lively, bright flavors of blackcurrant, herbs, hints of chocolate and boysenberry.

A wine that will elevate the taste of BBQ, roasts, and game dishes.

Peachy Canyon, located on the west side of Paso Robles, is a family-run winery established by Doug and Nancy Beckett in 1988 and is one of the first ten wineries in Paso Robles. Recognized for its terroir-oriented and dedicated winemaking approach, it has won numerous awards and, with its exemplary Zinfandel, has elevated Paso Robles to one of California's important wine-producing regions.

Josh and Jake Beckett, the second generation brothers who have taken over the winery, grew up watching their parents work in the vineyards. After many years in the wine business, they saw potential in the market with a slightly unusual idea. In 2004, the brothers left Peachy Canyon, launched Chronic Cellars, and began making their own wines. With the quality of the wine and their skillful marketing, they grew the winery to an annual production of 17,000 cases, and sold the company to Winery Exchange in 2019. They then returned to Peachy Canyon and officially took over management of the winery.

Peachy Canyon has built its reputation on Zinfandel, but currently, 40% of the grapes grown are Rhone and Bordeaux varieties. Josh and Jake recently acquired a new vineyard. The Beckett family currently owns 102 acres of their own vineyards on the west coast of Paso Robles. All of their vineyards are located within three sub-AVAs: Willow Creek, Adelaide, and Templeton Gap. As a long-established winery in Paso Robles, in order to fully express the terroir of these wonderful AVAs, starting with the 2019 vintage, all of the wines they produce are estate wines, wines made only from grapes harvested on their own vineyards.
