Drouhin owns 0.6 hectares of his own vineyards in Les Amoureuses, which means "lovers". The soil is clay-limestone and the average age of the vines is 49 years. Maceration and vinification take place over a period of 2-3 weeks, with punching down once a day until fermentation is half complete, and remontage once a day until fermentation is complete. The wine is then aged in French oak for 14-18 months, resulting in an attractive wine with a continuous aroma.
