Some of the grapes are from the estate and from several vineyards in the Carneros region. 19) Fermented and aged for 8 months in French barrels (20% new barrels) 21) Fermented for 9 months in French barrels - Aging (24% new barrels) Malolactic fermentation was not performed to keep the acidity sharp. A Burgundy-style wine that combines power and elegance. Traditional European style winemaking was practiced.
This wine is made in cool climate Carneros using traditional European-style vinification methods and aged on the lees.
Technical information
The 21 vintage is made primarily from grapes from Rich Vineyards and our own vineyards, with some grapes from Wildcat Mountain and San Giacomo added in, but all are separated into separate lots and 100% barrel fermented.

Tasting Comments
Intense aromas of lemon, white flowers and nectarine.
In the mouth, it is rich in flavors of tropical fruits and plums, with a light minerality.
The balanced acidity gives it a refreshing and fresh finish, making it an excellent match with food.
It pairs well with cream soups, rich seafood, chicken and veal dishes.
