The original version of this wine was brewed by Andre Tchelistcheff using the solera method at Beaulieu Vineyard. In the late 1980s, we purchased barrels of wine brewed by Andre Tchelistcheff from 1970 to 1983. We continue to produce this wine using the solera method as a base. The juice is fermented by adding high-quality brandy during the fermentation process to stop the fermentation, and after a long barrel aging, it is added to the solera. This Antigua solera has now been aged for over 35 years. It has a complex aroma of nuts and orange peel, and a thick, rich mouthfeel. It can be enjoyed with desserts such as tiramisu and creme brulée, as well as cheese. Alc: 19% Residual sugar: 11%
