The vineyard is 30 years old and is located right next to the winery in Coombsville. The wines are fermented and aged in French barrels, but malolactic fermentation is not performed. In the fall of 2016, the Antonio Carbone Wine Cellars, a stone-built winery built in 1886 in Coombsville, was purchased and renovated into a winery exclusively for Favia. The second wine of Favia was released under the historic name (Carbone in English, Carbone in Italian). The taste is creamy and thick, with a rich flavor and excellent refreshing acidity that tightens the whole wine.
The Carbone is an affordable model that inherits the spirit of the Favia.

Tasting Comments
The impressive aroma of lemon peel, white pepper, mint, broken stone, and chalk is complemented by tropical fruit nuances. The mouthfeel is creamy and thick, with a rich flavor like lemon cream and tarte tatin, and a refreshing, excellent acidity that tightens the whole, leading to a long aftertaste.
The full-bodied Chardonnay is enhanced by lively acidity, giving it even more brilliance.
Field Information
From a 30-year-old vineyard located right next to the winery in Coombsville.
Cultivation is carefully managed by Annie Favia and contracted farmers, resulting in ripe, concentrated fruit.
Coombsville is located in the southeast of Napa Valley, and the vineyards are located on a gentle slope facing the west, which has been created by ancient landslides over the years. Because it is close to San Pablo Bay, cool mists and sea breezes enter the vineyards in the mornings and evenings.
Although the average temperature is lower than in northern Napa, there is ample sunshine, allowing the grapes to ripen slowly.
Further viticultural management gives this wine its unique character.
