Bright and concentrated ruby colour with a slight purple hue.
It has a pleasant aroma of black fruits such as black currant, and also has a mineral feel.

It has the potential to age for 10 years or more.
The ideal serving temperature is 16-18°C, and we recommend uncorking the wine about 2 hours before serving.
Whether it's simply grilled or served with a sauce, it's especially good with red meat.
"Vigno" is a project started in 2009 by producers in Chile's Maule Valley.
Carignan was originally grown in Chile as a blend with the Pais variety, which has long been cultivated there.
The producers themselves stepped up to save their old-vine Carignan, which was intended for local consumption and which had ultimately been abandoned due to land reform.
We produce wine under harsh conditions, including from vines that are over 30 years old and non-irrigated fields.
As of January 2019, 16 wineries are members, and all producers release wines with the same "VIGNO" logo on the label.
<Bouchon Family Wines> French immigrant Emilio Bouchon settled in Chile in 1887.
He bought a vineyard in the Colchagua Valley.
In the 1970s, Emilio's grandson Julio purchased vineyards in the Maule Valley and founded the winery.
This marked the beginning of the current Bouchon Winery.
In the 21st century, business expanded along with Chilean wine's global success.
Today, winemaking is carried on by Julio's children, the fourth generation.
While they continue to make wine in the way they have inherited, they are also challenging themselves with new things.
The company is actively involved in Vigno's activities to save old-vine Carignan grapes, and also focuses on the Pais grape variety, known as the origin of Chilean wine, producing wines in a style that combines learning from the past with modernity.
Winemaker Christian Sepulveta is one of the most notable winemakers in Chile today, having been named Young Winemaker of the Year by renowned British wine critic Tim Atkin MW in his 2019 Chile Report.
