The aftertaste has a hint of mushroom, sous-bois, and spice. This chateau was purchased in 2003 by Baron Benjamin de Rothschild, one of the descendants of the Rothschild family who owns Lafite Rothschild in part. The lord saw great potential in this chateau located in Puysguin Saint-Emilion, and invested a huge amount of money to significantly improve the winemaking facilities.
