「この価格でこの美味しさ！」と評価の高いワイナリー。ブラックベリーとスパイスのハーモニー。
Merlot約80%, 残りはPetit Verdot, Teroldego, Petite Sirah ステンレス・タンク醗酵後プレスし、もう一度タンクに戻し醗酵を最後まで終わらせる（最 後まで果皮と一緒にしない為穏やかな味わいとなる）。その後、仏産＋米産（新と数年使い）の樽材にて約6ヵ月熟成。果実味がたっぷりとした豊潤な仕上 り。ブラック・ベリーとスパイスが混ざり合い、凝縮しながらも滑らかな口当たりで、心地よい樽のニュアンスが余韻となる。
ハンバーグやロールキャベ ツのトマト煮込み、仔羊の香草焼き、ミートパイなどと良い相性。

Light straw in color, the 2020 McManis Family Vineyards Viognier is a rich, velvety white wine with peach, pear and apricot aromas. Similar stone fruits and vanilla notes grace the palate along with a touch of minerality, leading to a smooth and decadent finish.
Harvest and Production Notes:
100% of the fruit for our 2020 Viognier came from McManis’ very own River Junction AVA, located at the confluence of the San Joaquin and Stanislaus Rivers. The vineyards here sit below the waterline most of the year, resulting in temperatures 2-5 degrees cooler than the surrounding area and a more prominent diurnal temperature swing; an excellent climate for premium Viognier.
The fruit was harvested between September 11th – 12th, averaging 26.3 Brix at harvest. The juice was cold fermented in stainless steel to retain the unique fruit characteristics of Viognier.
