2019 was warm during the growing season and brought attractive aromas of black fruits, olives, spices, tobacco and lead pencil. Deep red in color, mouth-watering blackberry fruit, ripe tannins, European texture and a long, generous finish. This wine has excellent proportions and is made for drinking now, but will age easily for 5+ years with proper storage. It would be a great accompaniment to a French brasserie-style sagari pepper steak.
