A must-see for golf lovers, California Chardonnay with the best cost performance

Eli Callaway, the founder of Callaway, a world-famous golf brand, was originally a winemaker!

Founded in 1974, Callaway Vineyard & Winery is the oldest winery in Temecula, serving Callaway wines to Queen Elizabeth II for lunch when she visited the United States. There is an anecdote that the reputation of Temecula and Callaway as wine-producing regions has increased since the Queen asked for a second glass and a meeting with the winemaker.

Here is the winery's Chardonnay.

Ripe apples and faint butterscotch-like toasted aromas spread charmingly. Not too strong oak incense, medium body, smooth and well-ripened acid with a gentle dry type.

Uses American oak barrels. Aged 90% American, 10% stainless steel for a total of 6 months.

Rated 90 points on Wine.com and Best Buy by Wine Enthusiast magazine.
